This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is an integral part of the Areapac Terms of Service and applies to all users using our network or related services.
Article 1 — Basic Principles
Users may not use the Services to engage in any illegal, improper, or activities that can reasonably be considered network abuse.
Article 2 — Prohibited Activities (Non-exhaustive)
1. Illegal or Regulatory Risk Activities
- Violation of applicable laws, regulations, or sanctions;
- Assisting, inciting, or covering up illegal activities.
2. Network Attacks and Intrusions
- DDoS/DoS, scanning, penetration testing (unauthorized);
- Brute force attacks, credential theft, botnets;
- Acting as an attack springboard or control node.
3. Fraud and Spam
- Spam, phishing, social engineering fraud;
- Identity impersonation, fake websites or services.
4. Malware
- Viruses, trojans, ransomware;
- Malware distribution or control servers.
5. Infringement and Illegal Content
- Infringement of intellectual property rights;
- Content that violates public order and morality or is prohibited by law.
6. Circumvention or Anonymization Uses
- Providing anonymous internet access, circumvention tools, VPN, proxy, or relay services to external parties;
- Spoofing source addresses or circumventing traffic identification.
Article 3 — Enforcement Measures
If users violate this AUP, the Company may take one or more of the following measures depending on the circumstances:
- Traffic restriction or blocking;
- Service suspension or termination;
- Account or resource ban;
- Cooperation with relevant authorities as required by law.
Enforcement actions for AUP violations do not constitute grounds for refunds.
Article 4 — Cooperation with Investigations
The Company reserves the right to provide necessary information to authorized agencies under lawful circumstances. Users shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities.
